GI Formula is a modified Robert’s Formula (RF Formula) that uses more potent healing extracts in achieving a refinement of a time proven formula for the treatment of gastrointestinal conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease (including IBS, Crohn’s and Ulcerative colitis), peptic ulcer, GERD and gastritis. GI Formula is most suitable for upper G.I. problems.

Medicinal Ingredients (each vegetarian capsule contains):

  • Bromelain (3,700,000 FCC PU, pineapple stem) . . . 100 mg
  • Cranesbill (Geranium maculatum; 4:1 QCE 400 mg, root) . . . 100 mg
  • Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis; 4:1 QCE 400 mg, root) . . . 100 mg
  • Cabbage (Brassica oleracea; 3:1 QCE 225 mg, whole plant) . . . 75 mg
  • Echinacea (Echinacea angustifolia; 4:1 QCE 300 mg, root) . . . 75 mg
  • Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis; 4:1 QCE 300 mg, root) . . . 75 mg
  • Slippery elm (Ulmus fulva; 4:1 QCE 300 mg, bark) . . . 75 mg

Non-medicinal Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.

Adults: Take 1 capsule three times a day with food or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Duration of use: For occasional use only. May be used up to 10-21 days. Keep at room temperature in a dry, dark place

  • Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Do not use in individuals with known or suspected sensitivity to the listed ingredients.
  • Do not take this product simultaneously with other medications.
  • Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have high blood pressure, kidney disease, rheumatoid arthritis, if you have a progressive systemic disease, such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS/HIV infection, and/or auto-immune disorders.
  • Do not use if you have an allergy to Asteraceae/Compositae (daisy) family.
  • Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have bile duct obstruction, or iron deficiency anemia.
  • Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist.
  • Stop use if hypersensitivity/allergy, nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea occurs.
